Funnel Chest Associated with Lung Cyst (A Case Reoprt)

Abstract
|
|
|
Funnel chest associated with lung cyst is a very rare congenital disease. The funnel chest was
first described by Johann Scenck in the sixteenth century. Funnel chest associated with other
congenital anomaly was reported occasionally, but Funnel chest associated with lung cyst was not
reported yet a case in Korea. A twenty-three year old Korean army patient was corrected the Funnel
chest surgically by the method of Rabitch operation at the 3rd Army Hospital on April 28, 1970.
The lung cyst was not explored because of the patient´s refusal, Postoperative courst of the funnel
chest was uneventful.
Along with a case, literature were reviewed.
